Abstract

Abstract: Center for Micro Finance Development of Bina Swadaya has adopted ASA (Association for Social Advancement) model for servicing its women microcredit beneficiaries. After 12 year of services, there is a presumptions that ASA model has influence towards the development of saving and loan Cooperative Bina Swadaya Nusantara and also the development of its woman microbusiness clients. The aims of this study: 1) to analyze the performance of saving and loan Cooperative Bina Swadaya Nusantara in implementing ASA model, 2) to analyze the development of micro business conducting by women beneficiaries of saving and loan Cooperative Bina Swadaya Nusantara, 3) to analyze the impact of ASAmodel micro credit service towards the development of microbusiness, and 4) to identify factors which influence the development of micro business using ASA model run by Saving and Loan Cooperative Bina Swadaya Nusantara. The methodology of this study used correlational descriptive explanative survey with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Samplingtechnique used proportionate method by limitation of every region based on the quota, in accordance with a population that is in the region. This study used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The result shows that there has been a significant effect on both saving and loan CooperativeBina Swadaya Nusantara and its women micro business.The factors which have very significant and significant effects, are: micro business’s characteristic and micro business services knowledge. Whereas, the Credit Officer (CO) and the business environment have no significant effect.

Abstract

Abstract: One of the parameters for determining the quality of health services in hospitals is the information documented in a good and complete medical record (MR). Medical record completion by a physician within 24 hours is a standard quality of care in UNISMA Islamic Hospital Malang. One of these indicators that has not yet been achieved is the 24 hours postadmission MR completion rate of 50% from the 100% standard. This study aims todetermine the impact of work motivation on physician performance in completing MR, moderated by the individual characteristics (gender, age and tenure). This study is an observational researchusing cross sectional approach, involving 45 physicians as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and MR completion checklists, with five medical records assigned to each respondent, and were analyzed using linear regression test. The results showedthat gender, age, and years of service do not moderate the impact of work motivation on physician performance in completing MR (p ≥ 0,05). This suggests that the management team does not need to consider individual characteristics in an effort to improve the physi- cian performance in completing MR through increased motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to analyze the influence of reference groups on the purchase decision and fashion interest, then the influence of purchase decision and fashion interest on the customer satisfaction, and then the influence of reference groups towards customer satisfaction through the purchase decision and fashion interest. Research on the handbag became very exciting because imitation handbags booming and widely used in thecommunity, especially among female students in Malang. The sample in this study were taken by using the data collection method called purposive sampling. The number of samples that used were 115 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed by using PLS analysis technique (Partial Least Square) through the PLS software. Moreover, to test the hypothesis of the fifth, Sobel test was used to examine the relationship existing intervening variables in the hypothesis. The results showed that the reference groups have a significant positive effect on purchase decision and fashion interest. Then purchase decision and fashion interest also has significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, reference groups have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction through the purchase decision and fashion interest.

Abstract

Abstract: Urea is a chemical compound which is composed from the elements of carbon, hydrogen,oxygenand nitrogen. Approximately 90% of the urea used as chemical fertilizers in the form of prills as a supplier of nitrogen element (macro nutrient) needed by the plants. Fertilizer includes in the manufacturing industry that provides a major contribution to Gross Domestic Product (PDB) after the agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and mining sector (BPS, 2012). In the group of non oil and gas,fertilizer industry group is rank1 of 9 industry groups which have the opportunity to generate foreign exchange.The problems faced by the fertilizer industry in Indonesia are: (1) the availability of raw materials for producing urea namely natural gas, (2) the factory has been an old age and the old technology so that inefficient, (3) very low domestic sales policycauses the loss of opportunities for manufacturers to get the maximum margin. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the income and profit in increasing the competitiveness of urea industry. The research to determine the relationship of competitiveness and the factors thataffectcompetitiveness is analyzed with multiple linear regression with the method of Ordinary Least Squared (OLS). As the independent  variable it is the price policy (domestic price and export price) and the distribution policy (production volume and export volume) and the dependent variable are the competitiveness and the results of sales as the intervening variable. The data use in this research is secondary datacoming from the annual report of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) and Urea Outlook from Fertecon Analysis. The results showed that the price policy (domestic price and export  price) and the distribution policy (production volume and export volume) are significantly influences toward the income and the profit that will increase and stregthen the company’s competitiveness. For the domestic price variables did not significantly affect the results of sales(income) so that the policy of domestic price regulation is the same as the export price that will increase the income and the competitiveness of company. While the production volume and the export volume inflluence the results of sales so that it strengthens the competitiveness of company.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the training evaluation ofMDP; coveringin class training (ICT), and action learning (AL) in affecting individual performance (IP). And also to find which other factors contribute the successfulness action learning of the MDP. The object of this research was a company that implements theMDP in developing its human resources. The research was based on both primary and secondary data. The primary data were gathered from personal interviews; participants, training manager, training provider, facilitators, and participants’ supervisor. The secondary data were obtained through the training evaluation sheets, and performance appraisal. Data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively by using SEM-PLS Smart software.  The result of this study were (1) ICT was positively and significantly affecting the AL, (2) ICT and AL do not affect the IP simultaneously, (3) Supervisor support showed as a factor in contributing successfulness of the AL. This research can be benefitted as a reference for a company to conduct the MDP training.

Abstract

Abstract: Patient safety culture in the organization, directly related to the individualattitudes and motivation to report any patient safety incidents. Openness attitudes to report any incidents is one indicator of patient safety culture in the internalization of individual behavior. Attitudes that do not support incident reporting on the staff, especially the nurses, will hamper efforts to create safe care because the absence of an incident report will have an impact that is hospital not aware of any potential warning of the dangers that can cause errors. This study is non experimental research with the aim of using correlative descriptive cross sectional design. The independent variable in this study is a patient safety culture while the dependent variable is the attitude of patient safety incidents reported. The results showed that simultaneous patient safety culture significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Partially organizational learning and continuous improvement does not significantly influence the attitude of patient safety incidents reported, Teamwork significant influence on the attitude of reported incidents, openness of communication significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents and the responses not to punish a mistake does not significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the direct influence brand awareness and brand associations to brand loyality and brand equity, and also theinfluence by brand awareness and brand associations of brand loyality whichis moderated to perceived quality.Direct influence of brand Ioyality brandequity, as well as explaining the influence of brand awareness and brand equ ty of the brand to the associations in mediation by brand loyality. The respo dents of this study amounts to 100 consumers in the Hypermarket Matahari Dept. Store in the Malang. Research Data collected by used questionnaire. S atistical analysis using method of analysis of the MRA and path analysis. The results showed that brand awareness and brand association had influence direct or indirect effects which has moderated by the perceived quality of brand loyalty. Brand Awareness and brand loyalty has a direct influence on brand equity, but does not indicate the existence of research results directly influence brand association of brand equity. The results also indicated that brand loyality affected the influence toward brand awareness and brand association against brand equity

Abstract

Abstract: Not much research focuses on corporate social responsibility toward commitment of employees. This study aims toanalyze the influence of corporate social responsibility toward Employee Performance and the role of organization commitment in mediating the effect of corporate social responsibility toward Employee Performance. This research was exploratory research based on primary data. Primary data was collected from professional employees who work in different organizations. The population in this study is the professional employees of different organizations or institutions where such organization or institution has been carrying out CSR activities in the city of Surakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 100 employees using simple random sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this research is the path analysis; hypothesis testing using t-test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the commitment of the organization can affect the performance of employees so that social responsibility becomes very important in helping improve the welfare of employees so that impact employee commitment to the organization increases and gives a good reputation for the company to provide benefits competitive and create the maximum employee performance.

The results showed that the learning organization, educational qualification, work experience and togetherhave a significant effecton performance. Partially, learning organization and work experience have a significant effect while the educational qualification isopposite.

Abstract

Abstract: Human resources is essential to prevent turnover intention of hospital nurses. Nurses engagement is expected to produce nurses satisfaction and finally lower turnover intention. This study aims to examine the effect of employee engagement on job satisfaction and turnover intention of nurses at Wava Husada Hospital Kepanjen-Malang. The research was a cross sectional research. Sample of the study were 102 nurses who work at inpatient and outpatient unit of Wava Husada Hospital. Questionnaire with 5 point Likert scale was used to measure employee engagement, job satisfaction, turnover intention. Path analysis was used to test the direct and indirect direct effect of the variables. The results showed that employee engagement has direct effect on job satisfaction and turnover intention. On the other hand, job satisfaction has direct effect on turnover intention of nurses in hospitals Wava Husada Kepanjen. The results also indicate that there was an indirect effect of employee engagement on turnover intention through job satisfaction
